SKYCITY Development

In October 2016, we organised “The Future of Shopping Malls” Business Conference and Exhibition at which we unveiled our SKYCITY development plan.

SKYCITY – A new world-class destination at HKIA

SKYCITY is a major integrated development covering approximately 25 hectares of land at the north of the airport island – making it one of the largest commercial projects in Hong Kong. It will comprise retail, entertainment, dining, hotels, and office facilities. Its vision is to create a unique, new world-class destination for Hong Kong by providing a dynamic lifestyle and family entertainment hub for local residents and overseas visitors, helping to transform HKIA from the city’s airport into an “Airport City”. After the completion of the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, SKYCITY will benefit from an even better catchment area, where a 2-hour drive can reach a promising tourism and business market with a population of 60 million people in the Pearl River Delta region.

SKYCITY will be developed in phases. The first phase comprises a hotel and a retail, dining and entertainment destination (RDE).
