Working Together Towards a New Carbon Reduction Target

On 13 May, the Airport Authority (AA) organised the 7th Technical Working Group online workshop to discuss HKIA’s long-term carbon strategy. During the workshop, Business Environment Council and carbon management solutions provider RESET Carbon Limited were invited to share their expertise on how to develop a carbon management plan and set a long-term carbon reduction target respectively.

AA followed up by giving its own insights on the aforementioned topics as well as presenting HKIA’s long-term carbon reduction target study. Two participating companies of HKIA Carbon Reduction Programme, Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited also shared their carbon management strategy and carbon reduction initiatives.
