Tradeport: Launch of Electric Vehicle Charger

On 4 Apr, Tradeport Hong Kong held an opening ceremony to launch the use of two newly-installed electric vehicle chargers which would be used for corporate vehicles and is also available to staff to charge personal vehicles to encourage green transportation to work. This is the first step of Tradeport to engage electric vehicles and has plans to transit diesel fleet to electric vehicles over time. In doing so, Tradeport targets to reduce both greenhouse gas and air emissions generated from vehicle fleet which will help HKIA to achieve its future 2035 carbon reduction target and ultimately the HKIA 2050 Net Zero Pledge.
