The Airport Authority (AA) released its eighth issue of HKIA Environmental E-newsletter in December 2021.
This issue starts with an editorial message from the AA’s General Manager, Sustainability, summarising the key sustainability achievements of the AA in 2021. In the “Spotlight” section, AA’s Senior Manager, Climate Resilience, shares details on the new airport-wide Net Zero Carbon Target, followed by “Industry trends” that features Hong Kong’s Climate Action Plan 2050. Finally, the “What's happening” section highlights key environmental events and initiatives at HKIA in Q4 2021.
Launched in January 2020, the quarterly environmental e-newsletter namely “Towards the Greenest Airport” aims to make the airport community’s environmental efforts more visible. Each issue is filled with features which highlight industry trends, interviews and updates on the environmental aspects within HKIA, Hong Kong and globally.
