Green office — Saving paper and energy

As part of its Green Office Programme, the Airport Authority (AA) began a company-wide Save Paper Competition in April 2020 to encourage all departments to think twice before printing from their communal printers and copiers. The result was announced in August, with the overall quantity of paper printed at AA offices decreased by 4.3% during the competition period from April to June 2020, as compared with the baseline period from October to December 2019.

In addition, AA promotes energy conservation by encouraging staff to switch off their computers after work. The overall percentage of computers that were left on overnight decreased to 9% in the first quarter of 2020.
