Cathay Pacific: Launch of Sustainable Aviation Fuel

Cathay Pacific has launched its pilot Corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Programme, the first major programme of its kind in Asia. The programme provides corporate customers the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint from business travel or airfreight by contributing to the use of SAF uplifted for the first time from Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on Cathay Pacific flights.

The Airport Authority (AA) is one of the launch partners of the SAF Progamme. AA provides fueling infrastructure that enables airlines to receive, store and uptake pre-blended SAF at HKIA. AA will also work with industry partners to promote the awareness and knowledge for the importance of scaling up SAF usage in the region.
