AA launches HKIA Carbon Reduction Award Scheme 2020

The Airport Authority (AA) has launched the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Carbon Reduction Award Scheme 2020 as part of its HKIA Carbon Reduction Programme. The Scheme recognises airport business partners’ efforts in reducing carbon emissions and promotes best practices. The Scheme this year includes the Carbon Target Award and the Innovation Award.

To actively promote HKIA’s unique airport-wide approach to carbon management among the aviation industry and local businesses, AA recently shared its experience on stakeholder partnership for carbon reduction at Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Stakeholder Partnership webinar. The HKIA Carbon Reduction Programme was also featured in the Business Environment Council’s Low Carbon Charter Progress Report 2019.
