AA receives CarbonCare® label

On 25 November, the Airport Authority (AA) received the CarbonCare^®- 20% reduction label from Carbon Care Asia Limited for the first time. The CarbonCare^® Label is a scheme that encourages and recognises the efforts of companies and organisations in tackling climate change and reducing carbon footprint by Measuring, Reducing and Offsetting (MRO). The AA achieved significant carbon reduction by replacing 100,000 traditional lights with LED lights in terminal buildings and optimising the configuration of the chillers to maximise operational efficiency.
