HAECO Environment Week 2025

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited (HAECO) held its third Environment Week from 24 to 28 November 2025 in collaboration with five local green organisations. Under the theme “Green Rangers to the Rescue”, the event focused on waste management and introduced the four key concepts—reduce, reuse, recycle and upcycle—through a series of activities.

At the “HAECO Green Market”, staff received upcycled wooden pencil holders made from company wood waste, giving materials a second life. An all-in-one recycling service was also introduced to staff for the first time, encouraging the recycling of more than 40 types of waste. During the Sustainable Development Goal workshop, staff gained a sustainability mindset for future business decisions through an interactive card game. HAECO also organised a clean-up along South Perimeter Road collecting 40 kilogrammes of waste, of which 15 kilogrammes were recycled.

The week-long event successfully raised awareness and equipped staff with valuable knowledge. HAECO will continue collaborating with staff on the journey toward sustainable development.
