AAHK honoured for Outstanding ESG achievement

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has once again been honoured with the “Excellent Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Corporate Award – Non-listed Company” at the Ming Pao ESG Award 2025, which recognises organisations that demonstrate exceptional leadership in ESG practices. The award underscores AAHK’s unwavering dedication to embed sustainability into its business strategies and operations through a range of ESG initiatives. 

AAHK adopted an airport-wide approach to drive sustainability across the airport island. Key initiatives include launching the Ascend sustainability strategy, driving the airport community towards its 2050 Net Zero Carbon pledge and the 2035 midpoint target, contributing to society by fostering talent development through the Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, and issuing green bonds as part of an overall sustainable finance strategy and more.
