Striving towards our green goals

The Airport Authority (AA) was awarded the World Green Organisation's (WGO) prestigious Green Office label for the seventh year in a row. The WGO initiated its Green Office Awards Labelling Scheme in 2013 to raise local business awareness of the global environmental challenges addressed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The AA's recent initiatives to promote the green office culture include the installation of hand dryers in the washrooms at HKIA Tower to reduce waste and associated carbon emissions, and the introduction of office pull-printing services for all AA network printers at HKIA Tower and HKIA Commercial Building to reduce unnecessary use of office paper.
