Recycling review at EcoPark

On 18 February, the Airport Authority organised an educational visit to the EcoPark in Tuen Mun to enable its business partners to better understand how HKIA's recyclable materials are processed.

Attending the tour were representatives from Cathay Pacific Catering Services (HK) Limited, Cathay Pacific Services Limited, Hong Kong Airport Services Limited, Plaza Premium Lounge, SkyCity Marriott Hotel, Tradeport Hong Kong Limited and Worldwide Flight Service. They toured the recycling facilities for handling HKIA's food waste, glass, and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

As the city's first recycling business park, EcoPark strives to promote the conversion of waste into resources by returning recyclable materials to the production line, thereby supporting the development of Hong Kong's circular economy.
