Airport “Park and Fly” Accepts Reservations from Tomorrow<br>Discounted Rate on Offer when Car Park Opens for Service on 15 November

2025/10/31

(Hong Kong, 31 October 2025, 1300hrs) – The automated transfer carpark “Park and Fly” at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) will begin accepting reservations tomorrow (1 November) and will open for service on 15 November. This facility enables passengers from the Greater Bay Area (GBA) to drive their cars through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to the carpark and then transfer to flights to overseas at HKIA. A special discounted parking rate will be offered during the initial phase of operation.

Starting from 0900hrs on 1 November, eligible passengers can reserve a spot at Park and Fly carpark on a first-come, first-served basis through a one-stop online booking platform provided by Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK). Applicants simply need to follow the instructions to submit required documents and pay the relevant fees in advance. Once the information is confirmed by the Mainland or Macao authorities, the reservation is complete. In addition to parking for transfer flights, passengers can also reserve drop-off or pick-up services.

During the initial phase, Park and Fly carpark offers a promotional parking fee. For each booking the total fee for the first three days will be HK$100, with subsequent days at HK$50 per day. Each drop-off or pick-up service is charged at HK$100.

Vivian Cheung, Chief Executive Officer of AAHK said, “The fully automated Park and Fly carpark is another convenient intermodal connection for GBA passengers, alongside cross-boundary high speed ferry and bonded bus services at HKIA. GBA is an important market for us. Park and Fly provides another option for passengers who want to drive by themselves to Hong Kong for their flights, enabling a fast, convenient, and seamless journey. This strengthens the cross-boundary multi-modal transportation connectivity between HKIA and GBA cities, further consolidating our status as the region’s international aviation hub.”

Park and Fly is located inside the restricted area of the Hong Kong Port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge next to the airport and operated by an automated parking system. The five-storey car park offers a total of 1,800 parking spaces. After entering the carpark, passengers with a booking can simply leave their cars in designated areas without the need to search for a parking space by themselves. The system will then automatically park their cars. They can then take a bonded bus to the SkyPier Terminal inside the airport's restricted area, where they can complete check-in procedures and baggage drop before heading to the boarding gates. No immigration procedures at the Hong Kong boundary are required during this process.

For the return journey, passengers can confirm their reservation at the transfer counter at E2 in Terminal 1, then take a bonded bus from the SkyPier Terminal to the carpark and retrieve their vehicles using the automated system.
