(HONG KONG, 28 March 2006) - Golfers and passengers alike will find the soon-to-be-opened golf course at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) - the SKYCITY NINE EAGLES GOLF COURSE - a perfect place offering them unrivalled golfing experience, making their stay at HKIA even more dynamic, pleasant and memorable.
Scheduled for opening towards the end of this year, the HK$100 million development project will inaugurate with a large-scale charity golf tournament in which celebrities and VIPs will pit their skills at the nine-hole golf course.
Conveniently located to the east of the existing passenger terminal, the SKYCITY NINE EAGLES GOLF COURSE is set within an aesthetically attractive environment with a landscape of undulating greens, artificial lake and extensive sand bunkers. It is also Hong Kong's first nine-hole golf course featuring an "Island Green".
Airport Management Services (AMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the King Power Group (Hong Kong), is responsible for the investment and operation of the SKYCITY NINE EAGLES GOLF COURSE.

Specially created by a professional golf course architect, SKYCITY NINE EAGLES GOLF COURSE strictly conforms to the highest standards of the United States Golf Association. Apart from Hong Kong's only "Island Green", distinctive challenges offered by the golf course also include an "Extensive Bunker" feature. Both attractions are specifically designed to present golfers with increased obstacles and difficulties to help them perfect their game -- and allow players to enjoy soaring thrills and pleasure in the process.
The all-new golf course also incorporates superb coaching services and teaching resources for the benefit and enjoyment of golf lovers at all levels of skill. In addition, the golf course provides a comprehensive range of facilities including equipment rental, luggage storage, restaurant, a club house, and pro-shop as well as lighting for night-time golfing.
