Invitation for Expression of Interest for Retail Concessions at Hong Kong International Airport

Extraordinary business opportunity in a premier location

HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links as well as round-the-clock facilities. Through offering premium products and services, the Airport Authority (the “Authority”) strives to provide the best shopping and dining experience for our passengers.

The Authority is planning for the commissioning of the Departures Check-in Hall on Level 7 of Terminal 2 in Q1 2026, and is seeking retail operators to operate retail outlets at this new destination, which offers units size ranging from approximately 377 - 958 square feet. With direct connection with Airport Express and other public transportation, the locations are ideal for retail operators to attract a high volume of local and overseas travelers, as well as the airport community.

The Authority hereby invites any interested operators to submit response in this Invitation for Expression of Interest (“Invitation”).

Any interested operator who wishes to express its interest should submit the following information to Retail & Advertising Department by email to terminal2retail@hkairport.com no later than 4:00 pm on 31 October 2025 (Hong Kong time).

  • Company name;
  • Company background (not more than one A4 paper);
  • Interested concession(s) (Packaged Food/ Travel Accessories/ Smart Gadgets/ Lifestyle Accessories/ HK Souvenirs/ Bread & Pastry/ Other retail categories); and
  • Contact person, position, email address and phone number.

Qualified operator will, upon presentation of the aforesaid information, receive the Invitation For Proposal by email.

Note :

Neither this Invitation nor any response/document(s) received will constitute or form part of any contract with the Authority or constitute any representation or warranty on the part of the Authority.

All costs and expenses incurred for or in connection with any response to this Invitation, including the preparation and/or submission of the response, shall be entirely the sole responsibility of the operator without recourse to the Authority.

In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English version of the content herein, the English version shall prevail for all purposes.
