Invitation for Prequalification

Prequalification for Bus Terminus at SkyPier Terminal (Contract C26W03)

The Airport Authority (the “Authority”) is planning to establish an Automated People Mover (“APM”) replacement bus terminus at SkyPier Terminal (“SPT”) (the “Works”). The Works comprise construction of a bus terminus of approximate 650m2 with canopies and provision of escalator are located at Level 3, Level 4 of the SPT.

Invitations to tender for this contract are expected to be issued in 1st Quarter of 2026. The Works are to be completed within a period of 18 months. The procurement method for this contract, conditions for participation, tenderer selection criteria and other pertinent details are detailed in the Prequalification Invitation Document.

The Authority invites expressions of interest from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and CAPABILITY to manage and construct the Works. Suitable contractors will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience and capability in undertaking projects of similar nature and complexity in an operating environment.

Applicants who wish to express their interest in prequalifying to tender for the above contract should forward their name and address, together with the name, position and fax number of their contact person to Mr. Bernard Chan, Senior Manager, Procurement and Contracts, Contracts by email to CWDTENDER@hkairport.com.

The deadline for completing and delivering the Prequalification Submission to the Authority’s Tender Box at the lower ground floor lobby of HKIA Tower will be on 30 December 2025 at 14:30 (Hong Kong time).

 

The Authority will evaluate all applications using the information to be provided by the applicant in the completed Prequalification Submission and select the successful applicants at its sole discretion.

All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.

The procurement of the Works is covered by the Revised Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organisation.
