Replacement of Automated People Mover Cars (Contract T24W023)

The Airport Authority (“the Authority”) is planning to replace the existing Automated People Mover (APM) cars.

This Contract includes replacement of the existing twelve (12) second-generation APM cars (V5-V7) and the existing eight (8) third-generation APM cars (V8-V9) with three (3) new six-car APM vehicles and one (1) new two-car APM vehicle, including associated removal works of the existing APM cars, and reinstatement works of hatch opening, and supply of spare parts (the “Works”). The duration of this Contract is approximately 56 months.

The procurement method for the Works, conditions for participation and contract award criteria are detailed in the tender documents.

The Authority hereby invites tenders from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and construct the Works. Suitable applicants will need to be able to demonstrate previous experience and capability in undertaking projects of similar nature and complexity in an operating environment.

Applicants shall register in the Authority’s ePROS website (http://epros.hkairport.com) and establish a “Registered Account” to log onto the ePROS website for obtaining the tender documents.

Tenders for this Contract shall be submitted to the Authority via ePROS website not later than 14:30 (Hong Kong time) on Monday, 14 October 2024.

All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.

The procurement of the Works is covered by the Revised Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organization.
