The Airport Authority (the “Authority”) is implementing expansion of passenger facilities to enhance passenger experience at new Terminal 2 Concourse (T2C) which requires the design, supply and installation of a multi-media kinetic artwork (the “Works”).
T2C is a new airport passenger facility designed to provide excellent passenger experience and efficient concourse services covering departures, arrivals and transfers upon commissioning. To offer a unique experience to passengers using the new facilities, a large-scale performative multi-media kinetic artwork will be installed as a permanent feature located in a prominent position within the departures area.
The Authority has developed a scheme design of the Works which consists of a combination of large digital displays mounted overhead and at floor level together with kinetic automated movement systems, automated control and integration with AV and other systems.
The conditions for participation, tender programme, prequalification selection criteria, and other pertinent details are detailed in the Prequalification Invitation Document.
The Authority invites expressions of interest from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to develop the scheme design into detailed design, manage, construct and commission of the Works.

The deadline for completing and delivering the Prequalification Submission to the Authority’s Tender Box at the lower ground floor lobby of HKIA Tower will be on Thursday, 29 May 2025 at 16:30 (Hong Kong time)
The Authority will evaluate all applications using the information to be provided by the applicant in the completed Prequalification Submission and select the successful applicants at its sole discretion.
All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.
The procurement of the above Contract is covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organisation.
