The exhibition presents five modern Hong Kong cheongsams by CAMMIE CHAN CHEONGSAM, exploring the iconic garment’s evolution through contemporary design and local culture.
The collection draws inspiration from Bauhinia flower, mahjong, architectural structures etc., bringing tradition and modernity in unexpected ways. While preserving classic features like the mandarin collar and side slits, this exhibition invites audiences to discover how heritage can be preserved, transformed, and reimagined through contemporary Hong Kong fashion design.
