Tradeport Hong Kong participated in Greeners Action’s Pilot Scheme

Tradeport Hong Kong participated in Greeners Action’s Efficiency Enhancement in Local Industrial and Commercial Waste Plastic Recycling Pilot Scheme starting in February 2023. The pilot scheme aims to recycle low-density polyethylene such as plastic wrap more efficiently.

Greeners Action provides the machine together with relevant training for baling the waste plastic wrap generated from Tradeport’s daily operations. The size of bales produced by the compactor machine reduces by half compared to manual compaction, which results in reduced storage space and transportation frequency.
