Sustained Commitment To Sustainability Recognised

Airport Authority (AA) was proud to receive the “Long Participation Award” in the Public and Community Services category at the 2022 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) on 15 December. This prestigious “Long Participation Award” was a new accolade added to the suite of awards to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the HKAEE. It is a testament to AA’s long-term commitment to implementing environmental sustainability policies and initiatives in alignment with its pledge to make Hong Kong International Airport the world’s greenest airport.

Organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, alongside the Environment and Ecology Bureau and the city’s major chambers of commerce, the annual awards aim to promote best practices in environmental management.
