Ongoing dialogue with stakeholders

The Airport Authority (AA) held the 11th Professional Liaison Group meeting and the Green NGOs Roundtable on 27 April, which aims to share the updates on Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)’s Three Runway System (3RS) project to experts, academics and representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the sustainability field. 

Both meetings elaborated on the latest developments of the 3RS project. Moreover, the meetings touched upon other aspects of AA’s sustainability performance, for example, the HKIA 2050 Net Zero Carbon Pledge, the Green Airport Design and Construction Strategy, and the environmental, social and governance (ESG) recognitions it obtained.  

Both events concluded with visits to new facilities at HKIA, including the Integrated Airport Centre, Sky Bridge and the food waste management solution Food TranSmarter.
