Taking a Foodstep Journey

While Hong Kong is an affluent city, not everyone in the city is equally fortunate. On 30 March, the AA Staff Club organised a tour to visit NGO food rescue and food assistance programme Food Angel's "Foodstep Journey" experience centre in Sham Shui Po. "Foodstep Journey" promotes awareness of food wastage and elderly poverty in Hong Kong. Through virtual reality films, interactive games and activities such as a vegetable preparation workshop, participants gained a greater understanding of these issues and were motivated to show greater appreciation for food and compassion for the elderly.
