Tender for Replacement and Comprehensive Maintenance Services of Automated FOD Detection System for South and Centre Runways (PRO/T231/24/MP)

The Airport Authority (“the Authority”) is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of Hong Kong International Airport (“the Airport”).

The Authority hereby invites Tender Submissions from interested organizations with proven experience and capability for replacement and comprehensive maintenance services of Automated FOD Detection System for South and Centre Runways. The scope of works includes the replacement of automated FOD detection system for South and Centre Runways and comprehensive maintenance services of automated FOD detection system for South and Centre Runways. The term of the contract is 720 calendar days for replacement works and 60 months with an option to extend for maximum 24 months at the Authority’s sole discretion for maintenance works.

This is an open tender covered by the Revised World Trade Organization Agreement.

The applicants can only download the Tender Particulars and Instructions for Tender Submission via our ePROS Website if the applicants hold a Registered Account. A non-refundable Tender Document Fee of $10,000.00 in Hong Kong dollars is required prior to the release of tender document. Please go to the Authority's ePROS Website to find out the details.

Tender briefing is scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on 26 April 2024 (Hong Kong Time) via video conference. Please complete the application form in ePROS website and submit it via ePROS website on or before 4:00 p.m. on 24 April 2024 (Hong Kong Time) to register for the tender briefing. Maximum two representatives shall be nominated for attending the tender briefing.

Tenders in response to the Letter of Invitation must be in compliance with the requirements set out in the Tender Particulars and Instructions for Tender Submission and be submitted via our ePROS Website as per the instructions set out in the Tender Particulars and Instructions for Tender Submission and our ePROS Website Terms of Use which can be found here http://epros.hkairport.com, no later than 4:30 p.m. on 13 May 2024 (Hong Kong time).

All costs and expenses incurred by the applicants for or in connection with any response to the Letter of Invitation, including the preparation and/ or submission of the tender, shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicants without recourse to the Authority.
