“C919 Aircraft Demonstration Flight in Hong Kong” Photo Competition

About the Competition

Home-developed aircraft C919 and ARJ21 visit Hong Kong for the first time in December 2023. This is the C919's first voyage out of the Mainland of China. On 16 December, the C919 will conduct a demonstration flight over Victoria Harbour. The HKSAR Government and Airport Authority jointly organise a photo competition, inviting members of the public to capture and share this special moment of the C919 flying over Hong Kong skies.

Please click here for more information about the C919 flight demonstration.

To facilitate the flight demonstration, the Civil Aviation Department will establish a temporary restricted flying zone (RFZ) in and around Victoria Harbour. Flying activities, such as the flying of unmanned aircraft systems (drones and model aircraft), kites, captive balloons, mass release of small balloons, etc, will be restricted. Please visit the electronic portal for small unmanned aircraft "eSUA" and the relevant Notice To Airmen for further details.
