A Contractor Staff Confirmed to Have Contracted COVID-19<br>Relevant Work Areas Thoroughly Cleaned and Disinfected

(HONG KONG, 4 January 2021, 1830hrs)  –  Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) has been informed by Louis Vuitton Hong Kong Limited, a retail shop tenant, that a member of their contractor staff has been confirmed to have contracted COVID-19. The staff last reported duty on 25 December 2020. Relevant work areas have been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

The concerned staff was responsible for fitting-out works of the store in terminal. Relevant works have been suspended and the tenant has arranged their staff members who worked with the concerned staff to conduct COVID-19 test and wait for results at home.

The AA has stringent guidelines for airport service providers and contractors to ensure public health and safety of airport staff and passengers.
