China Travel Service (HK) Ltd visa issuing offices at the airport are the fast, convenient way to get a visa to the China mainland. Taiwan residents re-entry visas, officially known as 'Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents', are processed in about an hour while other applicants need wait only four to five hours. However this is much quicker than the time required if the application is made down town.
While the office at the restricted area handles visa application for Taiwanese residents only, the landside counter handles all kinds of visa applications. The CTS counter will also arrange hotel reservations in Hong Kong, Macau and all major cities in China. Tickets for cross-border bus services can also be bought there.
