Q1. How long does it take for a normal FVC application?

It normally takes eight weeks for processing an application and the final grant of Frequent Visitor Card is subject to approval.

Q2. Which documents do I need to submit together with my new application?

You need to complete the FVC Application Form, send it together with a photocopy of your travel document, including:

  • front page with your name, document number and
  • pages showing the record of your three most recent visits to Hong Kong in the past 12 months.

Q3. How can I collect the HKIA Frequent Visitor Card?

We will send the HKIA Frequent Visitor Card to your postal address.

Q4. What is the validity of the HKIA Frequent Visitor Card?

The HKIA Frequent Visitor Card will be valid for two years from the date of issue.

Q5. My Frequent Visitor Card will expire soon. How can I renew it?

If you have used our channel and recorded for six times or more in the validity of the Card, you are eligible for card renewal. Our administrator will email you to reconfirm your postal address before sending the renewed card to you in the month of the card expiry. For details, please click here.

Q6. How do I renew my card if I enter Hong Kong via e-Channels which do not stamp my passport?

Qualified FVC card holders will be notified by email one month prior to card expiry. For card holders who do not receive the notification email, please provide the landing slips printed in e-Channels for card renewal. For details, please click here.

Q7. If I lose my Frequent Visitor Card, what should I do?

Please fill in the application form, only your name, travel document number, postal address and email are required. Sign and send the form to the following address:
