Roving Exhibition

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) held a roving exhibition from December 2009 to March 2010, demonstrating the many environmental initiatives being employed at the airport.

The exhibition had toured six locations across Hong Kong. It featured five different zones that highlighted the airport community’s efforts in carbon reduction and energy efficiency, use of renewable energy and cleaner fuel, waste reduction and recycling. The display also covered HKIA’s environmentally friendly architecture and community partnerships.

Apart from the informative display panels, there was a "Wishing Tree" where visitors could post notes expressing their wishes for a greener Hong Kong. More than 1,400 notes were collected.
