Hezhou has received publicity recently through TV series "Country Spirit" and "Plain Love II". The natural scene and village houses form a calm and comfort environment. The wine and tea garden built for the filming of the TV series are especially popular and become an attraction of package tours.
The most famous spot in this city is the Gupo Mountain country park situated 26 kms from downtown Hezhou. The waterfall on the hilltop is a spot not to be missed. There are buses running from Hezhou terminus to Gupo Mountain.
