More than 48.6 million passengers used Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in 2008 and over 3.6 million tonnes of cargo passed through the airport. Some 750 aircraft movements and around 90 airlines link HKIA with around 150 destinations worldwide every day, making it one of the busiest international passenger airports in the world.
