Senior Manager, Training & Development (Ref: HRA13-0202-TD-W-03)

Reporting  to  the   Executive Director,  Human  Resources &   Administration,   the successful candidate  will   be  a  senior  member  of  Human  Resources & Administration  Department  responsible for  staff  training  and  development.  S/he will  oversee the  Training &  Development  Section and formulate  the  training  and development  strategy.  S/he  wi ll  lead  the  team  in  the  design  and  delivery  of training   curriculum   as  well  as  various  managemenVskill  training   programs  to support  the  operational  and business requirements  of  the  organisation.  S/he will assess the   overall  organisational  competency  strengths  and  gaps,  and   make recommendations for  continuous  enhancement  to ensure the effectiveness of the staff  training  and  development  programs.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should be a degree holder  in Training/Human  Resources Management  or  a related  discipline and possess a minimum  of  12 years' senior managerial experience in training and development, preferably from a sizable organisation  with  a structured  training  and  development  system.
In  addition   to   having  proven  experience  in  driving  training   and  development strategies, s/he should be a leader with  the ability to combine  high level  strategic decision  making  with  detailed  planning  and  project  management.  and  possess solid experience in the design and delivery of various managemenVskill training programs.  Apart  from  excellent  command  of  spoken  and  written   English and Chinese  including  Putonghua,  the  successful candidate  should  also be  a  team player with  excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; and with  hands-on experience in preparing  policy papers/proposals pertaining  to  training  and people development.  Experience  in  aviation  industry  is an  advantage.
