Operation Officer, Airfield and Operation Officer, Baggage Handling

Operation Officer, Airfield (Ref: AIRF14-0211-W-01)

• Provide marshalling guidance for aircraft docking, conduct patrol duties & checks on ramp operators’ performance and to ensure compliance with safety standards on the ramp in the optimization of operational efficiency
• Assist in the handling of aircraft emergencies and airside incidents including investigation of traffic accidents and personal injury cases
• Perform patrol and bird scaring duties, conduct scheduled inspection on runway and taxiway systems and facilitate in the monitoring of service contractors’ performances
• Coordinate with airlines and business partners to ensure efficient ground handling of aircraft, facilitate aircraft arrival/departure logistics, provide surveillance of ramp activities and maintain aircraft registration records
• Required to work on shift duties

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ working experience. Secondary level education with 5 years’ working experience will also be considered. Experience in airport-related area is an advantage
• Possess a valid HK driving license with Class 1 and Class 2 endorsement
• Team player with pleasant personality and good communication & interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, responsible, enthusiastic and motivated
• Competent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing. Competency in other computer software is an advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage

Operation Officer, Baggage Handling (Ref: AIRF14-0053-W-06)

• Real time operation of Baggage Handling System (BHS) and Baggage Management System (BMS) which include management of baggage flow, system faults and baggage reconciliation services so as to ensure smooth operation of BHS
• Responsible for updating daily flight schedules and flight information into specific systems
• Investigate and give reply to short shipped baggage inquiry 
• Monitor the performance of contractors in relation to deployment and baggage loading accuracy
• Liaise with AVSECO MAEDS for the daily X-ray services arrangement
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned
• Required to work on shift duties

• Degree holder with at least 1 year working experience, preferably in Baggage Handling or secondary level with 3 years working experience in airport related area will also be considered
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. A good team player, detail-oriented, enthusiastic and motivated
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge in Putonghua will be an advantage
