Senior Manager, Planning & Programming (Ref: PROJ13-0051-W-01)
The successful candidate will report to the General Manager, Projects and responsible for the effective and efficient project management of design and construction contracts. He will lead a team of planning and programming professional and assists the senior management ensuring both the medium and long term development projects are planned and delivered on schedule to meet the Authority’s target. His/her responsibilities will include:
- Lead the Planning and Programming team to prepare and develop the project programme and ensure the design, tender and construction contracts including all interfacing works are delivered in time
- Liaise and coordinate closely with various stakeholders to identify constraints
- Participate in the design process, preparation of tender and provide programming supports during the implementation phase of the design and construction until commissioning
The successful candidate should be a Chartered Engineer and obtain a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, of which 8 years should be in project management role. S/he shall have solid hands-on experience in project planning and scheduling of large scale multi-disciplinary engineering projects, be familiarized with the statutory processing and has a good understanding of various construction methods and techniques. The candidate shall have excellent leadership, problem solving and communication skills.
