Assistant Contracts Engineer (Ref: PROJ11-0209-W-01)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring effective and efficient financial management of civil/building works contracts in accordance with corporate financial controls and reporting procedures
- Provide accurate cost estimates and cost related information to ensure appropriate budget establishment
- Provide tender support; assist in preparing tender documents, reviewing bills of quantities and assessment of tenders
- Assist in post award contract administration; preparing contractual correspondence; evaluating and quantifying changes; assessing contractual entitlements; preparing interim and final payments
- Monitor project expenditure; prepare cost reports, commitment and cash flow forecasts; anticipate potential financial issues; identify comprehensive and innovative value engineering solutions and co-ordinate project stakeholder input
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder with professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or other related disciplines
- At least 5 years relevant experience in financial management and contract administration of multi-disciplinary construction projects
- Good command of both spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
