Senior Operation Officer, Airfield (Ref: AIRF10-0099-W-01)

Responsibilities:

  • Audit on marshalling guidance, conduct safety inspections and performance checks on franchisees and operators, supervise apron activities and enforce discipline to ensure compliance with AA Bylaws and operational procedures
  • To ensure operational readiness of runway and taxiways, conduct scheduled inspections on worksites, monitor the effectiveness of bird control measures and performance of airfield service contractors, ensure activities compliance with ICAO standards
  • Handling of aircraft emergencies and airside incidents including investigation of traffic accidents and personal injury cases
  • Coordinate with ATC, ramp and business partners on stand allocations, prepare daily stand allocation plan and operate Terminal Management System for real-time stand allocations
  •  Required to work shift duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ working experience. Secondary level education with 7 years’ working experience will also be considered.  Experience in airport-related area is an advantage
  • Possess a valid HK driving license with Class 1 & 2 endorsements. Competent PC skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing.  Competency in other computer software an advantage
  • Team player with pleasant personality and good communication & interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, responsible, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese.  Knowledge in Putonghua an advantage
