Project Engineer, Civil & Building (Ref: PROJ10-0096-W)

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance in the design management and site supervision of Civil and Building works to ensure that capital works growth projects are constructed to achieve the project objectives in a safe and timely manner
• Check contractors’ technical proposals and works to ensure that they are technically sound, well engineered and safe
• Analyse contractors’ method statements and technical submissions for compliance with the specified requirements
• Monitor progress of the works, maintain comprehensive records and prepare thorough progress reports
• Co-ordinate design and construction interface issues and proactively resolve potential clashes

Requirements:

• Degree and professional qualification in Engineering or related discipline
• Member of HKIE or other relevant professional bodies
• At least 8 years’ relevant experience, of which a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management
• Solid experience in management of Civil and Building design and construction works
