Licence for the Provision of Cross Boundary Ferry and Passenger Handling Services at the Hong Kong International Airport
The Airport Authority Hong Kong(the "Authority") is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of the Hong Kong International Airport (the "Airport"). The Authority invites tenders from interested organization(s) with proven experience and capability for the provision of cross boundary ferry and passenger handling services at the Airport. The term of the licence is intended to be 63 months with an option to extend for 1 year subject to the Licensee's satisfactory performance.
Interested organization who wishes to submit a tender should write to Mr.Horace Chan, Assistant General Manager, T2 & SkyPier Operation, Terminal 2 & Landside Department, by fax (at 852-2182 9361) on its company letterhead, giving the name, address, telephone and fax number of the contact person with whom an appointment for the collection of the tender documents could be made.
The tender documents will be available for collection in person at the Airport Authority, HKIA Tower, 1 Skyplaza Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau, Hong Kong, from 2:30 p.m., 12 December 2012 upon appointment and payment of a non-refundable tender document fee of HK$1, 000 in the form of a cheque payable to "Airport Authority" drawn on a licensed bank in Hong Kong. The Authority's office hours are from 9: 00 a.m.to 5: 50 p.m., Monday to Friday (except public holidays).
A tender briefing for the cross boundary ferry and passenger handling services is scheduled at 2:30 p.m.on 21 December 2012. Interested parties are required to register on or before 19 December 2012. Registration details will be provided upon collection of the tender document.
Tenders in response to the invitation must be in compliance with the requirements set out in the tender documents and be submitted to the Authority by depositing into the Authority's Tender Box at Lower Ground Floor, HKIA Tower as described in the tender documents not later than 2:30 p.m. on 10 January 2013 (Hong Kong Time). Late submission will not be accepted.
All costs and expenses incurred for or in connection with any response to this invitation, including the preparation and / or submission of a license, shall be borne entirely by the party concerned without recourse to the Authority. The Authority is not bound to accept any tenders and reserves the right to negotiate with any tenderers.
