Contract P523 – Removal of Midfield Stockpile Materials (P523)
The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the “Authority”) is planning to remove approximate 500,000m3 of stockpiled materials comprising various mixes of rock, soil and sand from the Midfield area of Hong Kong International Airport.
The Authority invites tenders from organisations with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and undertake major earth moving operations. Suitable contractors will need to be able to demonstrate ability to manage the works in an operational environment and to be familiar with various disposal options.
Applicants who wish to tender for this Contract should forward their name and address, together with the name, position and fax number of their contact person, by fax to Mr. Kevin Poole, Deputy Director, Projects (fax (852) 2188 1513) or by e-mail to AATender.PD2@hkairport.com.
Tenderers will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of HK$500 (in the form of a cashier order payable to “Airport Authority”) when collecting the tender documents and submit a tender bond in the amount of HK$500,000 with the tender.
Tenders for this Contract shall be submitted to the Authority not later than 14:30 (Hong Kong time) on 17 July 2013. The applicants will be informed of the arrangement for collecting the tender documents in writing.
All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.
The procurement of the above works is covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organisation.
