Contract P153 – HKIA Carbon Emissions Study (P153)
As part of the Hong Kong International Airport (the Airport) community’s pledge to reduce carbon emissions, the Airport Authority Hong Kong (the “Authority”) has been conducting regular carbon audits of its airport operations. To continue development of the carbon emissions inventory for the Airport and provide data for the Airport’s ongoing development, the Authority will carry out a detailed study to prepare estimates for future carbon emissions.
This consultant will be responsible for conducting a carbon emissions study to estimate the Airport’s future greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and review international developments and trends on the subject of carbon pricing in relation to aviation GHG emissions.
The Authority hereby invites tenders from specialist consultants with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to provide the required environmental study services. Suitable consultants will need to be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in the relevant environmental issues, particularly in the context of aviation GHG emissions.

Tenderers will be required to pay a non-refundable fee of HK$500 (in the form of a cashier order payable to “Airport Authority”) when collecting the tender documents.
Tenders for this contract shall be submitted to the Authority not later than 14:30 (Hong Kong time) on 28 February 2013.
All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.
