The New Destination Incentive Arrangement (NDIA) scheme is an innovative way to encourage airlines to add new destinations to the network already served by HKIA. In addition to enhancing the airport's international connectivity, the scheme also plays a role in strengthening the airport's position as an international and regional aviation centre.
Under the NDIA scheme, airlines are offered a 75% rebate on landing charges for flights they operate to a new destination for the first six months they fly the route and a 25% during the next six months.
