Total 9 fully equipped check-in islands from aisle A to aisle J located at level 7 departures hall are dedicated for providing round-the-clock check-in services to passengers. You may check the check-in and flight information from our Information Display ahead of each check-in aisle before approaching to the counters.

CHECKING IN AT THE AIRPORT
|
There are screens in every departure hall showing the information about departing flights. On the basis of the departure time, airline code and flight number on your ticket you can see at which you can check in. The exact desk is stated with the desk row. Show your ticket and passport there and hand in your luggage. You will then receive a boarding card that mentions the number of the Gate of your flight and the time you should be there.
PLEASE NOTE: passengers should check in well in advance of the departure of their flight. How many hours in advance depends on your destination. Please contact your for more information on check-in times.

PASSPORT AND SECURITY CONTROL
You then go to the South or North Immigration Hall at Terminal 1 for passport and security control. Please notice that for safety and other reasons including the comfort of passengers, rules are enforced by the Airline Operators Committee, an association of all the airlines operating into and out of Hong Kong , on the size of (56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm). Instructions are shown on the measuring gauges found around the check-in areas as well as at the entrances of the two Immigration Halls at Terminal 1. Departing passengers should have the following documents:
- A Valid Passport
- Departure card for visitors to Hong Kong *
- For Hong Kong residents, you should present your HK Identity Card.
* visitors who entered HK should have filled in an arrival card with the departure carbon copy at the back. The departure card copy is left by Passport Controllers in your passport. Please make sure you do not lose this.
